Another week in Colombia!

This week was a little rough at times but a huge testimony builder. I am super glad to hear that everyone is doing well, I pray for you guys a ton and I hope that things keep being good. My companion and I started this week with a lot of energy and working really hard.  We have found many new people that we think can progress in the next couple of weeks.  We just keep inviting everyone.  We invite, they commit and we follow up.  So we are just trying to increase the number of people we invite because many are called and few are chosen.  But if you invite many many people you will naturally find more of the chosen. What made this week a little more difficult is that Cartagena is having a plague of pink eye.  I don´t know if I have mentioned it or not but a lot of people here don´t do a lot to protect themselves from sicknesses like that.  My companion and I were working really hard to protect ourselves from it washing our hands in our house e...

Another week in Colombia

This week was super crazy.  We had an activity with books of Mormon in our town square this week.  We put a bunch of Colombian kids inside and they were running around and giving people cards from the church and they were all really pumped.  It was super funny and really cool. Also we had a baptism this week with Duglas Gallardo. He´s a Venezuelan that´s way cool and really nice.  It has been a real pleasure to know him and serve him and to get him to where he is at now. And also some photos of the the Nisperuza family.  They are really cool and are always giving us food and taught me how to make arepa con huevo and they made us a san cocho con gallo super rico. I am praying for you all a lot with this new transition from summer to school.  I hope that everything goes really well -- Con muchisimo amor, Elder Fuell

Another Week in Colombia

¡Buenas tardes! Good to hear from you guys! I hope that everything is going well in work and school. On the mission side everything is good.  We have a baptism this week with one of our investigators named Duglas.  He´s a Venezuelan that´s pretty cool.  This week was a little different because my companion had surgery and they removed one of his wisdom teeth. I had a lot of time to just sit down and not do much.  So I started reading a lot in the Book of Mormon.  We have a goal as a mission to finish it before October.  I was really behind so I was reading a ton.  I was in Alma 25 on last Monday and this morning I just finished Alma and it was awesome.  I loved every second of it.  Except for the parts of my companions pain.  That wasn´t too great.  But he got a lot of sympathy from the members so that was nice. We have a lot of things to do this week still.  We have interviews with our president and my companion ...
