Herro!!

This week has been nuts. Monday: After we got out of the Internet our family home evening cancelled so we decided to work in a different part of our area that was a little more humble.  We found new people to teach, but they make me a little nervous. Tuesday: I woke up and I was having a hard time focusing on my studies and everything, it´s been a stressful couple of weeks.  So I received a priesthood blessing from my companion and that helped me out a ton. The leaders also called me and told me that we were going to Barranquilla on Thursday so we had to change our district meeting to Wednesday and sleep in Cartagena that night.  So I had to reschedule some things to make time for the baptismal interviews this last week. There were 10 baptismal interviews.  For the 1st of December. Wednesday: We had our district meeting and then the zone leaders came and told us that we had to go to Cartagena at 4 to practice a skit that we are doing the 13th of December....

Happy Thanksday

Hi mommy. So this week was fun Monday we were still inside and it was our last day. After that we got to work.  My companion and I went to so many houses talking to so many people.  There were so many nice people but nobody would commit to lessons so we just kept going from door to door the whole week.  We´ve received a few references from the members but even they don´t seem super willing to commit.  But I love knowing that the blessings come to those who are faithful, diligent and put a lot of attention into the work.  I´m grateful for these last 15 months of being a missionary. And I am grateful for my family. I know blessings come if we can just hold on a little longer. I am also grateful for hydrogen, carbon, calcium, and phosphorus because those are a few of the basic elements of life and where would we be without those little guys. Also I have had so many little prayers answered in this last week.  It´s been awesome.  I hope you...

Another week in Colombia ( I think we already knew that)

Hola, So, we survived the week stuck in the house.  I just studied a lot.  I started the book of Mormon over again and I am already in 2 Nephi.  I want to be in Alma before the year is over.  While we were in the house I cooked a lot of pancakes and I beat my companion in checkers every day.  He finally won last night.  So it´s good to know that he´s improving.  I also wrote a lot in my notes and read a lot of conference talks. We called one of our investigators and invited her to church and she hung up the phone on us so we didn´t have anyone in the church this week.  But we have a lot of energy and we are really excited to get this week moving.  We left the house yesterday to go to the church and after we went to some members houses to eat and there were people every where in the streets with paint all over them.  They stood in big groups and wouldn't let you pass unless you gave some coins.  Another thing was if the mo...
