Santo Tomas-Excited about General Conference

Hello from the other side, I must have called a thousand times.  Not really but I couldn´t help but remember Adele ya know? Good to hear that all is well up there in the states.  Glad that you guys were able to travel home safely and I hope that the rest of your week goes well with your job. I am super excited for conference this week I don´t know if I will be able to listen to it in English or not this time, but I would be able to understand it in Spanish now so it´s more of a selfish desire that I have to be able to hear them in my native tongue and not to have to think too hard about the big words they´re using. This last week has been great.  We are teaching three couples.  La familia fruto, la familia Charris, y la familia Caballero.  They are all progressing super well.  We had a family home evening with la familia Charris yesterday night and watched a video from the church and talked about temples, tithing, and the word of wisdom.  ...

Me and my companion in Santo Tomas I got my birthday package!! Hola!!! I don´t have a lot of time and this computer is garbage, but I am really happy to hear that your week was good.  Sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun.  I hope that it is awesome. This week for us was great, we have been working really hard this week to find new investigators and the branch will be helping us to marry two of the couples that we are teaching right now.  So we can expect wedding bells and baptisms very soon. Most importantly I feel the holy ghost working through me.  I am watching as the holy ghost is changing hearts and lives.  I am watching many...

SantoTomas-Another Week in Colombia

Well this week was pretty wild. First off I got your package.  I probably have a cavity now but it was worth it. ;) I am glad that everything went well for all of you guys this week.  I like what you said about the sacrament.  The sacrament here is a little less reverent sometimes because the people here just don´t understand the importance of it.   As for my companion he is from Lima Peru and we were in the CCM together in Bogota.  We have got along really well because he likes to cook and I like to eat. haha We have some pretty great investigators right now.  We have one couple we´ve been teaching in particular that has been absolutely amazing.  They need to get married first, but they know that these things are true.  The familia Fruto. Haha the Fruit Family. They want to go to the temple as a family and we talked yesterday about baptism and they have baptismal dates for the 13 of May. I really love this area I get a lot of oppor...
