Another great week in Colombia!

Buenas tardes.  It`s really good to hear that you are all doing well over there in the states.  First off shout out to Lexie and Dallin.  Great BIRTHs.  Super cool that the kiddos started school, congrats on your new calling! Don`t worry you`ll do great. Saludos a todos. This week for us here was great.  We had two baptisms.  La familia Lopez.  They are two young girls one is 9 and the other is 11.  They have attended the church for 2 years but they haven`t been baptized because the missionaries didn`t give them much attention.  But they are super cool so we started teaching them and they had a lot of desire to be baptized.  After getting permission from their parents,  they really wanted my companion and I to baptize them so that was cool. We`ve been teaching a Venezuelan named Duglas (it`s similar to Douglas, but it is pronounced like Dooglus) he`s still looking for a job which has been rough but he said he wants to get...

Another Week in Colombia

Hello mother family and friends, Another week in Colombia.  This week has been super busy.  My companion has had problems with his teeth.  He has una fractura de la corona delantera con comunicación a pulpa dental comenzando dolor constante (a fracture of the front Crown deep enough to the dental pulp and causing constant pain).  I don´t know many of the medical terms in Spanish but I thought you could look it up and understand it better than I can.  Funny story just for you mom, The dental offices here are a little dirty.  But they still did basically the same procedures that I saw back there in the states. Yeah, but we´ve still been working really hard and we have two baptisms this week.  Two primary girls named Jessica and Evelyn.  They´re super cool and their parents aren´t members, but they´ve been attending church for almost 2 years now and have really wanted to get baptized.  They are super sweet, the elders that did their int...

Turbaco - Near Cartegena First off shout out to Natalie for her Brickday.  I Hope it`s a real. And happy anniversary to my grandpa and grandma Frei! I`m glad that you have been enjoying the great northwest these last few days mom.  I would love to see some of those photos if Tom could send them this week.  Sorry about the writing in this email but this keyboard sometimes freaks out and does the same letter or space a lot.  I`m too lazy to just hit the backspace so sorry. This week just took a weird turn yesterday.  We had transfers yesterday and I am still here in this same area with the same companion.  But my trainer is in my district.  In fact we are working together in the same ward.  He is finishing his mission this transfer so it`s going to be fun working him to death. =) Also I am the district leader.  They called me last night and said, "Elder Fuell mi amigo, ud. tiene una nueva asignacion, ud. es el lider de distrito." S...
