First
off shout out to Natalie for her Brickday. I Hope it`s a real. And happy
anniversary to my grandpa and grandma Frei!
I`m glad that you have been enjoying the great northwest these last few days mom. I would love to see some of those photos if Tom could send them this week. Sorry about the writing in this email but this keyboard sometimes freaks out and does the same letter or space a lot. I`m too lazy to just hit the backspace so sorry.
This week just took a weird turn yesterday. We had transfers yesterday and I am still here in this same area with the same companion. But my trainer is in my district. In fact we are working together in the same ward. He is finishing his mission this transfer so it`s going to be fun working him to death. =) Also I am the district leader. They called me last night and said, "Elder Fuell mi amigo, ud. tiene una nueva asignacion, ud. es el lider de distrito." So I said, "ok" and yeah I`m the new district leader.
Mi compañero y yo estamos muy animado para trabajar esta semana. Tenemos dos niñas que estamos enseñando y ellas estan progresando muy bien por su bautismo. Son PF`s which means that half of their family are members. (part families=PF) Right now we are also teaching a young guy named Douglas. He`s really nice and cool. He`s been going to the church these past couple of weeks. He`s a venezuelan that`s come to Colombia without family, without money, without food, without anything except for clothes. He`s been living in some really hard circumstances but has been feeling his faith grow a lot. He`s been looking for a job these past few weeks and it has been a little difficult. But we are helping him in the little ways that we can.
We are also teaching a new family. They have American names so it is easy for me to talk about them. Daisy, Kenny, and Anderson. They are also super cool. We`ve been talking with Daisy and Kenny for a little while now and we just started talking with Anderson. Anderson and Daisy need to get married in order to be baptized. But they are super willing to do it. So now we just need to help them to attend church on Sundays and teach them the lessons.
Congrats to Joe and Lexie with their new jobs. Hope that all is well for you guys.
I haven`t had any problems with money for these last couple weeks. I have been budgeting it really well. The reason we had money problems is because we fasted like 3 times in 4 weeks. We fasted as a ward for a family that is having difficulties, than we had a fast with the church for the first Sunday of the month, then we had a mission fast to find new people to teach and we have to pay fast offerings every time we fast. And it`s a mission rule that we have to be generous with our donations so we didn`t have a lot of money after that.

And
the water system here in Turbaco is very limited. We
have water tanks on top of every building and when that tank
runs out, you don`t have water until the end of the month. My new
companion learned that the hard way. He was always taking long showers
and cleaning with a ton of water in the apartment. I told him to be more
careful with how he uses the water. He ignored me and we paid the consequences. But he trusts me a lot more now so yeah.

But it was super funny to be with my trainer again today. We were talking for like an hour in my apartment. He was in Santa Marta for 7 months. I had seen him once since we were companions.
I hope everything continues to be good for you guys there back home. Love you all a ton and think of you often. Prayers to all.
