Wow

Wow.  That`s the word I would have to use to describe this week.  Wow for how fast it was.  Wow for how my Spanish has been improving.  Wow for the work that was done.  Wow for the days when I fell asleep immediately following my nightly prayers. It was a great week.  With a few struggles, but that`s life.  We take everything one step at a time. First off, I gave a talk in church this last week.  It was funny because Bishop Vargas didn`t tell me or Elder Peña before hand.  He just announced my name in the beginning of sacrament.  So Elder Peña and I walked into the hall said a prayer and I got up there and gave a talk about how Dios nos ama  (God loves us) y Evangelio bendice familias (Gospel blesses families).  The members were all super nice after.  They told me that I sounded like a Latino at some points so that was exciting. Elder Chuelly

Hola, un otra interesante semana aquí en Barranquilla. I am glad to hear that everything is doing well back home.  I hope Katie makes tons of money at her new job and sends me gifts with that new money.  I hope everyone keeps working hard in these upcoming weeks and I will keep you all in my prayers. The Spanish is still a struggle, but life is day to day.  And patience is a virtue of Christ, so instead of wishing my life away I am going to try enjoying this point in my life because I won´t have anything like this ever again. Also, I am a little less worried about the Spanish and worried that I am going to become incredibly overweight out here.  They all feed me super well... Too well.  I usually end up eating my food and my companions.  And my companion won´t go on runs with me in the morning so that makes me a little sad.  But yeah we have been talking with a bunch of Venezuelans who have been hanging out with our Elders quorum preside...
