Another great week in Colombia!
Buenas
tardes. It`s really good to hear that you are all doing well over there
in the states. First off shout out to Lexie and Dallin. Great
BIRTHs. Super cool that the kiddos started school, congrats on your new
calling! Don`t worry you`ll do great. Saludos a todos.
This week for us here was great. We had two baptisms. La familia Lopez. They are two young girls one is 9 and the other is 11. They have attended the church for 2 years but they haven`t been baptized because the missionaries didn`t give them much attention. But they are super cool so we started teaching them and they had a lot of desire to be baptized. After getting permission from their parents, they really wanted my companion and I to baptize them so that was cool.
We`ve been teaching a Venezuelan named Duglas (it`s similar to Douglas, but it is pronounced like Dooglus) he`s still looking for a job which has been rough but he said he wants to get baptized sooner. So that was good to hear. This last week was really busy because we`ve been working in another town called Turbana. Our bishop has been sending us there trying to build up church membership so they can start a branch, but our mission president said to focus on our own area so were just trying to do both.
My companion has to have some teeth taken out this week so pray that all goes well with him. Also we are working really hard to find families to teach right now. If you guys in your prayers could help us out a little bit, I know it will go a long way.
I love you guys all a ton and if you ever need anything let me know.
