SantoTomas-Another Week in Colombia
Well
this week was pretty wild.
First off I got your package. I probably have a cavity now but it was worth it. ;) I am glad that everything went well for all of you guys this week. I like what you said about the sacrament. The sacrament here is a little less reverent sometimes because the people here just don´t understand the importance of it.

As
for my companion he is from Lima Peru and we were in the CCM together in
Bogota. We have got along really well because he likes to cook and I like
to eat. haha
We have some pretty great investigators right now. We have one couple we´ve been teaching in particular that has been absolutely amazing. They need to get married first, but they know that these things are true. The familia Fruto. Haha the Fruit Family. They want to go to the temple as a family and we talked yesterday about baptism and they have baptismal dates for the 13 of May.
I really love this area I get a lot of opportunities to teach families and it is a beautiful thing to watch the Holy Ghost touch the lives of people who are humble and willing to make a change in their lives. The only hard thing right now is that no one is married and no one has enough money to get married. As missionaries we can´t do anything more than teach and invite. Sometimes I wish there was more I could do, but that´s why I need to rely on the Lord to help these people in ways that I can´t.
And yeah this area is really rural and have to clean the sand out of my shoes everyday, but it´s worth it.
I pray for you all and hope that you are all doing the best that you can to be the best that you can.
