Another great week!!

Dear Mom and Fam,

Sounds like everything is good.  I am glad that you had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with family this past week.  I miss all those guys (Siblings and extended family).  But I know that it will have all been for the best by the time I am back.  And life goes on wherever you are.  So I will keep you all in my prayers and the Peck family in my prayers as well.

Para José o Dallin: What would be a good comment in Spanish to help these Latinos understand the importance of coming to our sacrament meeting instead of just any other sacrament?

This week has been a wild ride.  First off, I had my first baptism this week! that was really fun.  Her name was Geny and she has been an investigator of my companion elder Peña for like 2 and a half months.  She is pretty awesome and was definitely ready to be baptized.  We were not able to confirm her on Sunday because her dad got really sick so she drove to Santa Marta to make sure everything was good.

We have had on and off rain this week.  At one point we got stuck at this little tienda for like a half hour because of the rain.  So we talked to the owner for that time and she accepted to listen to our message this week.  She also had this really good bread called pan rojo.  Muy rico.
I always have my umbrella with me because it is super unpredictable and random.  We have been working really hard at trying to find new investigators this past week without much luck but we just keep trying!

Spanish has been on and off this past week, my companion doesn`t talk that much unless we are in a lesson.  So I try to talk as much as I can, but it is a little discouraging sometimes.  Only enough to turn me to prayer.

Also there are people here who make arepas with eggs cooked inside of them.  They are so good and only 1 mil.  That`s the equivalent of 30 cents back home.  And I figured out how to send pictures so I have a couple for you guys.

Other than that It was just another week.  I hope you all have a better week and that you feel the power of the prayers I send to God each night for each and every one of you.
