Who needs hurricanes anyway???!

First off, Congratulations to Dallin and Lexie!  I am sure that I am not the first to say it but Lexie is going to have her hands full for eternity.  Best of luck haha. ;)

Sounds like you guys had an interesting week, and I think it`s cool that we can be watching conference at the same time even though I am on a different continent.  I did have the ability to watch it in English so that was also very nice.  Be sure to tell Cade Ashton that my Spanish has improved.  And Janaye can tell my friend Chris not to send me any potato's.  We eat a lot of potato's here.  And it`s good to hear that Sierra is a super senior.  Haha nube. ;)

This week has been a blast.  That news just topped it off.  I`m starting to pick up the pace a little more.  The Spanish is better the work is a little harder yet all the more rewarding and my companion and I have been getting along really well.  I came to find out that he was in the Bolivian military before his mission, which explains his seriousness sometimes and his desire to be obedient.  He was in charge of teaching hand to hand combat so I love to ask him what he would do in different scenarios if I had a weapon haha.

This week has been very wet.  I was probably the last person to find out that we were under a hurricane for this past week.  Hurricane Mateo.  The thing that stinks with the rain is that we have to be inside because the streets turn into rivers.  But it was a great opportunity to practice my Spanish.  Conference was awesome.

We have three new rocking investigators who have baptismal dates for the 28th of October.  One of them, Amanda was super prepared by the lord for us and we were super lucky to meet her.  We tried ringing her doorbell twice and my companion said let`s go but I felt like we should try one more time.  So I yelled in buenas and it was a good thing I did because the doorbell didn`t work haha.

The guy in the center with his mom is our current investigator Jonas who we woke up and pulled him out of bed.  The rest are members and less actives.  This is my family here and they treat me really well.

Life is good, I have made like 15 arepas this week, and bought one at a panadería (bakery) super good.  My companion always says, "¿Cual es su problema hombre?" and I always respond with, "Mi solamente problema in mi vida es que yo soy muy guapo."  Haha he loves that.

I pray for you guys every day and I often have a flashback or two of home for a second when a Chevy blazer drives by blasting the Beatles.  (They have a lot of Chevy blazers around here)

Hasta Próximo semana,

Con muchisimo amor,
Elder Fuell
