Another week in Paradise

This is a photo of our Elders Quorum president with a machete

He cut us some of his coconuts and we drank from them like kings

Buenas tardes.

Sorry that I couldn`t write you guys yesterday.  We went to the Internet that usually has spots for us to write and they moved.  So we couldn`t write.  But if we can`t write Monday in the afternoon we have the ability to write Tuesday in the afternoon so that you don`t worry to much.

So yeah, I am still alive.  The pink eye went away really fast so that was nice to get back to work.  I also really enjoyed general conference.  I am also finishing the Book of Mormon this week and I have completed today 14 months of being a missionary and I have been here in Turbaco for 5 months.  It has been a blast.  I really enjoy being a missionary and feeling the spirit with such a strong influence in my life.

We have been finding a lot of new people to teach in these last few weeks especially families. So that has been getting my companion and I really excited to teach.  We have been having a hard time staying organized with all the lessons with Investigators and Converts and everything.  It`s been a little rough because normally our Elders quorum president leaves with us to work with the new converts and stuff but he has been in prison for the last couple of weeks.  If you could all keep him in your prayers that would be lovely.  (He was just in some political stuff when he was younger so the government is doing an investigation of him right now)

With all of the things I have to do as a missionary such as helping my companion (who has just finished his training), the responsibilities of being a district leader, my own investigators, and on top of that the difficulties that are being presented within the ward.  But I have found so much comfort in my reading of the Book of Mormon and my prayers.  Knowing that if I do my part and magnify my calling I can receive all that the Lord has.

I know that our Heavenly Father is a God of miracles and I have witnessed so many miracles these last 14 months and I know there are many more to come.

I pray for all of you and that your lives and families will be blessed I hope that you all read the talks from conference and that the spirit can touch your hearts as it has mine.  I love you all.  Cuídense.
