Another two weeks in Colombia

 12/18/2017

Today we had transfers and I am once again in Barranquilla.

I´m in a small town called Baranoa just outside of the city.  It´s not the same as Santo Tomas but it´s pretty close.

It was a quick transfer and I didn´t get to say goodbye to everyone over there in Turbaco, but I´ll miss that place.

This last week we were working a lot with a friend of our ward mission leader named Erik and things were starting to go really well with him and he attended church on Sunday, but I will just say some prayers and hope that his heart was being changed by the Gospel and not by us and that he will continue to make the changes.

I am super pumped to watch that new star wars when I get home.  I love star wars and miss it dearly.  But sometimes I have the pleasure of finding other star wars fans out here in the mission field and we have some delightful intergalactic conversations.

I am excited to talk to the family this week and even more excited to be a representative of Jesus Christ during this time.  I know he lives.  I know his plan is perfect and that these two years I am giving are nothing compared to the eternities we are saving.

I received one with the shaving cream, smarties, socks, and letters.  I have another that is waiting for me in Barranquilla.  I´m going there Wednesday.

Congrats to Tom for being a new Thai guy.  What time do you want me to call you guys the 23rd I can do it at any time you guys want.

I had a spiritual experience that I can tell you about on the 23rd because it would be better to talk about then to write. =)

This week was also normal.  We did a service every day this week and my zone leaders called me and told me that I need to do less services.  So that´s a good thing I think.

Not much to report this week.  Thanks for the smarties and stuff.  I made you guys a video this week with elder Rapp´s camera, but it may or may not be able to send vids this week.  Sorry.  Next week should be better.

You guys need to ask more questions about this place because I am sure everything here would be really crazy to you guys but it´s all becoming super normal to me now.

I love you all and I hope you all have the most amazing week.
