Birthday Transfers

Thanks for the birthday wishes! This week was great.  I had a lot of cake on Sunday, one of them I bought myself to share with the members at church.  (The members here don`t have very much money so I thought it would be nice to share on my birthday)  It was really fun.  We worked a normal Sunday and went to a small town called Polo nuevo and worked.

While we were in Polo nuevo the assistents to the president called us to tell us that I had transfers.  I am currently in Santa Marta.  It`s another city north of Barranquilla.  It`s a beautiful city, I live right up on the coast.  I literally can go running with my companion every day a long the caribbean sea.  Currently we live in a small apartment with 4 missionaries.  My companion and I are going apartment shopping because someone broke into the old apartment a few weeks back.  So we have to have an apartment in less than a week or we get kicked out of our area.

My new companion is Elder Ramos from Peru.  He seems like a great guy and it looks like we are going to baptize here soon so that´s exciting.

I love the experience that you had this last week mom.  In all truth that is exactly how we feel when we leave from a powerful lesson.  I love how the spirit can guide everyone to a land of promise and that we have to be willing to make that change.  Don`t worry if the progress is slow conversion takes time.  One spiritual experience after another until our spiritual seed becomes a tree. Alma 32.

I love you Mom and fam and I love this Gospel, I know it´s true!  I don`t change hearts or people, I just bring a message that does. Have a great week!
