Back to bucket bathing

First off, sorry that I had to email Tuesday.  On Monday after we got into Riohacha the power went out and it didn´t come back for a few hours.

This week was a little insane.  We got to our new house and there was no water, or light, or gas.  So we slept in the house of the zone leaders that live close by.  We didn´t have any sheets or anything so we just slept on some mattresses for like 3 days.  When I got to our house there were like 3 cockroaches in our toilet and they were big.  But I flushed those little suckers into the spirit world.

But a great plus is that we live like 1 street from the beach so we just go to the beach and play soccer almost every morning.  It is very relaxing.  And the beaches here are so beautiful.

This place is very pretty, very cheap, and very Venezuelan.  Half the population is Venezuelan.  So you know what that means? A lot of arepas.  And they are very delicious.

On the more spiritual side of things my companion and I have been looking for new investigators and we found a new investigator named Wendi.  She is really cool and she attended church this Sunday.  Even though she was worried about her homework she left it to come to church with us.  I am grateful for the little sacrifices that people make to come to the truth.
I know this church is true.  I know this gospel blesses families.

Something cool is I know how to ask for food in the native American language of Wayuu.  Chetecuin?
